Labyrinth MIDI Music was established in 1993 initially as a company producing professional backing tracks and style disks for professional musicians. Having made its mark in professional MIDI production, Labyrinth have gone on to gain recognition from major manufacturers such as Korg, Yamaha and Roland and are an official Roland Developer.
Labyrinth MIDI Music commissoned a core group of highly rated and professional session musicians to write their existing catalogue of MIDI File backing tracks. Although this catalogue was produced systematically over a period of years, it remains a quality collection of files which has been used for both professional entertainment and for educational/recreational purposes.
MIDI Files are not only used by professional musicians but also by hobbyists and people who would like to get an insight into how a piece of music is put together. By "breaking down" a MIDI File in a standard editor you can then see the structure of the various parts and this provides the opportunity to study and learn the song.
Alternatively, one can use the MIDI Files for entertainment purposes, for example by integrating them with a Karaoke player such as Vanbasco's Karaoke Player (http://www.vanbasco.com/) and having fun with sing-along.
